The National Soccer Hall of Fame, for the second consecutive year, has created and released to Major League Soccer and all of its teams MLS Trivia from the National Soccer Hall of Fame, a historical question-and-answer challenge for MLS fans.
One of the 32 produced segments will be released weekly on regional team broadcasts as well as on http://www.mlsnet.com/ and the Hall of Fame’s web site, http://www.soccerhall.org/. The programming is produced by Eudora Productions of St. Louis and the commentary is by well-known soccer announcer Sean Wheelock, the play-by-play voice of the Kansas City Wizards.
“We are excited to repeat this programming,” Hall of Fame President Steve Baumann said. “To remind fans of the many historical moments that have already occurred in the still young MLS is an important task that the Hall of Fame is uniquely suited to provide.”
The MLS Trivia segments will also be featured on stadium video boards as part of the game day programming at most MLS matches. The weekly feature will be posted on the Hall of Fame’s web site each Friday.
